The Loadcell vs. The Ruby Tippers

I was wondering, as I have seen things elsewhere that it should be safe to use ruby tipped nozzles with the MK4/XL, but I have been under the impression that crashing the tip into the plate is the number one cause of chipping these nozzles. Curious if anyone else here has ran the Olssen Ruby nozzles in their MK4's with no issue, and doubly so if they have been using the textured build plate with them.

RE:

No issues here. The force applied during bed leveling is negligible, and there's plenty of give to the bed assembly anyway. There's no lateral movement during the contact moment, so there's no instance of dragging the tip across the surface.

Thanks for the peace of mind there. My rubies might again see the light of day and the heat of life even on the mk4 in the future.
