MK4-specific kit & instructions for the Prusa Enclosure
Does anyone have any information yet on whether there will be a kit for those of us who already have a Prusa Enclosure and will be ordering a Mk4? I assume that most or all of the Mk3S connections will not be usable.
Given that this is likely to be a common scenario, I really hope that they will have a kit ready to go, and hopefully specific instructions for adapting an existing enclosure to the Mk4.

I've got the same question. I'm returning my MK3S+ and likely the enclosure as I'm guessing it won't work.

They have not announced it, but I would be shocked if it did not work.

They stated (IIRC in the blog post) that it will work with the Prusa enclosure

On Monday, when I pick up the MK4, I will try also my box by Tukkari if it fits. I guess the bigger LCD means bigger Y dimension.

Since the MK4 has the same dimensions as the MK3S+, it also means it’s fully compatible with the Original Prusa Enclosure.

Perhaps some of these responses were not really directed at me, but as the OP I should clarify that my concern is not about physical dimensions but rather about the wiring extensions involved in moving the control panel and PSU outside the enclosure.
My question is probably a bit premature, but I’m hoping to winkle out information so that I am prepared to order any necessary addons when the Mk4 kit is available to order. 🙂

I had the same thoughts as I would like to get the enclosure for the mk4. But holding off until Prusa gets everything updated.
RE: MK4-specific kit & instructions for the Prusa Enclosure
My MK4 + enclosure just arrived and step 21 certainly needs an update as the FS-Cover is missing on the MK4

RE: MK4-specific kit & instructions for the Prusa Enclosure
After some more investigation I see the filament entry part already has threads, so not an issue 🙂

Did you get a chance to try the MK4 into the TLX? I have the exact same enclosure (the tall one) and was wondering if it would fit too.
Thank you!

Well sort-a ... I bought both the Mk4 and the Enclosure, and was unable to place the LCD outside the box, and the PS quick-disconnect is incompatible.

Have you chatted with support?

Here's some newsflash:
The LCD mount was released today :

I was also asking the support is there is going to be a free upgrade for the PS quick-disconnect addon and they say that why haven't yet decided if there will be a compensation or discount/free replacement for the ps quick-disconnect addon.
RE: MK4-specific kit & instructions for the Prusa Enclosure
Yes, it fits! Even if MK4 is wider in X axis by 3 cm. I was contacted also by Tukkari to confirm the compatibility of some bigger (taller) enclosures made by them.
RE:
So, which enclosure you guys recommend? Original Prusa or Tukkari?
I like the idea of having the LCD outside and not having to open enclosure just to mess with LCD / control panel...
I am also planning on getting the MMU3 with my MK4 but I believe (not sure) both are compatible with MMU3... Reels fit inside the enclosures?

I also have questions. Does the MK4 power supply attach to the enclosure power supply mounting parts in exactly the same was as the instructions for the MK3?

The connections are a bit different, e.g. if I recall correctly, the power panic cable is only one wire as opposed to two on the MK3 and there is an additional grounding wire that was not present with the MK3. But all the parts fit together with the same hardware that comes with the enclosure.
