Sealing the enclosure

I make some plugs and washers to help seal the enclosure so it can build heat better or you can control it better.  See the build notes for the Enclosure Zip Tie plugs ...   Simple and quick to print.  The key was finding the right original size so the would press fit when used.

Heat rises so I did not worry about sealing the bottom.

RE: Sealing the enclosure

Thanks, I will try them out.  We just got the enclosure w/ the advanced air filter.  When I turn that filter on, the bed can't reach temp. for Polycarbonate.   How did you handle the gaping holes at the bottom of the enclosure?

RE: Sealing the enclosure

For my current needs I ignored the holes in the bottom.  Heat rises and I don't have a filter running yet, no air exchange.

In case its of use to anyone else, I modeled up some plugs for the MMU passthrough in the rear to allow pass through of a Raspi camera ribbon and USB cables. Its found on printables here:
