Display quick release
First time taking the printer out of the enclosure. Got most add-ons, including the PSU quick release thinking it would mean... well, quickly releasing and reinstalling the printer.
Turns out it's not as much.
To release the printer I need to get the flat cables and the earth cable out of the display board which is very awkward since it's on the underside, and the earth cable is very tight. Furthermore, the wire bundle is fastened to the enclosure requiring the fastener to be cut and then replaced. Replacing the cables is about as awkward as it is to detach them.
Is it just me? Have I missed something?

Sadly, your observation is spot-on. There is a really good mod for that, but you'll have to source some rather exotic connectors and crimp the cable yourself: https://www.printables.com/model/612910-mk4-lcd-quick-release-cable

come on DB25 is really super common port called parallel port... oh wait it's 2024..not 1994.
Either way connectors and crimps on it are extremely simple to use, so especially in this scenario it fits perfectly.
