YAOSQ (Yet Another Organic Support Question

I know there have been numerous questions about forcing organic supports, and I've seen responses such as "you must uncheck Do Not Support Bridges (which I've done). None of the things I've seen have solved my issue, which is to have supports where I want them, even if PS doesn't think they're really needed in a specific situation. If I paint on supports, it means I want them, PS, please do as I ask. Here's an example:

So I get the lower supports OK, but then the angle is such that I would expect that. The issue is the higher supports. Why won't they generate? I know the angle is not all that steep. But I painted on the supports, so I want them. I figure I must be overlooking some setting that would fix this. Can anyone help?

Can you post a zipped up 3mf project file from PS that you are having problems with such as the one you picture above.  I can paint a cone with a steeper angle and its adding organic supports for me.

Normally for tall things that need specific support I would model them into the object so I'm curious what the difference is between your instance and the cone I randomly found in my stl folders 🙂

Well, my issue seems to have been resolved by moving to PrusaSlicer-2.6.0-rc1+win64-202306091137_signed. I will test it on a couple of other computers to confirm it's not something else.

Yep, a 2nd computer now works. Beginning to look like an issue with PrusaSlicer-2.6.0-beta3+win64-202305261352
