Where to download Presets for Filament, Printers, etc?
Still pretty new to this software but for the life of me I can't seem to be able to download any presets for filament. I only have my user preset from when I setup the software.
I was able to make one for PETG and PLA. But I am really having trouble with FLEX.
Is it at possible to download them? Iread in the help manual that there are only 2 settings to adjust. But then I read to turn off retraction. Should I go slow? I have no idea. Too many settings to brute force through.
Thanks for any tips I am sure the fix is just a click away.

Are you using a Prusa or 3rd party printer? There are many filament profiles provided for the Prusa printers. If you run the configuration assistant and add a Prusa, you can "detach" these and save them as custom profiles.

This is for NinjaFlex, but you can hopefully use it as a base for your own brand of filament.

Is it possible to just download them?
I played with the configuration assistant but I did not see any menu that helped me download printer or filament presets. It ended up just wiping out what I already had after I selected finish.
I feel like it should be easier to download an entire pack of presets vs reinvent the wheel with no experience.
Are we sure there isn't a repository where we can download them? Still not sure why they didn't come pre-installed...

So I tried installing and I got almost 8 other filaments that are of little use.
Is this really the only way to find presets??

In PrusaSlicer go to Configuration - Configuration Wizard and you can add all the filaments you want

You can add them but when the wizard is done most of them will only show up if you also have a Prusa printer selected under printer. They are mostly part of the Prusa vendor space so aren’t available to most non Prusa printers. As described above you can select a Prusa printer so you can see the list and then copy it and detach it from the system presets so that it is available to all printers but this it’s a pain in the rear to do.
You could download the following zip file which contains a configuration bundle for filaments I created awhile back. Just extract it and then use file>import config bundle.
