Where in the world is set target temperature?

I have no idea why it is so hard to find this I've gone through every single panel of every single tab and I cannot find where the option is to set the target temperature

I know it's there because I changed it to 250 Celsius when I was printing pet g but now I'm frying my PLA because it heats up the freaking 250 and I can't find that setting to turn that off so I have to manually edit my decode in a text editor

Where in the world is the setting to set target temperature?

I think it is located at the top of the app - Filament Settings - Nozzle: - Other layers:

Firstly Prusa slicer has a search function built in. It’s works pretty good, you can type in a term and it will list all the settings that match the term and take you directly to them if you click. It makes finding settings easy.

secondly changing temperatures is not the only thing you need to do when changing filament types. Especially between petg and pla. The fan settings etc are also usually vastly different. Then there’s things like linear advance, etc. That’s why there’s a filament profile. Just load a profile for the filament you want to print with that contains all the settings for that filament. Prusa’s included ones are a good place to start and use as a basis for your own tweaked ones.
