What´s the secret sauce of Prusa printers precision with prusa slicer vs other printers with prusa slicer
I do own several printers and one is a prusa mk3. When I want to print something precise the prusa always wins (i.e. holes) even with non Prusa filament (but supported).
therefore I use Orca Slicer for my other printers because of features like hole compensation.
but why is the prusa printer always more precise ? does anybody know more ?
RE: What´s the secret sauce of Prusa printers precision with prusa slicer vs other printers with prusa slicer
HI @baumann
I had to try 5 times to log in to Prusa forums to give my opinion.
I want to be straight up, Orca Slicer, doesn't matter what printer I'm using I find Orca to be unyielding and difficult to navigate.Poor UI, Not that I don't understand it, but its setup for newbs, not experienced users. I would suggest that you continue at this current time to learn Prusa Slicer, it is currently the best slicer around, however you need to learn how to use it concisely. If your not willing to take the time then you will simply have to suffer the consequences of not learning your subject matter.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to offer much information to you, but you didn't give us much/anything to compare to.
Good luck,
Best regards
