What might cause this?

Hi all.

I was wondering if anyone might be able to fathom the reason as to why this happens in my prints. Essentially at the same places I get some dodgy printing. Which leads me to think it's either the model or the slicer as those two things are consistent.

The three pictures are slightly different models but the part you see is the same 3d element copied to use on different models. I'd like this object to be watertight but I get leaks at these points of the model. It's a beaker and fornthe most part the layers are good but every print the same thing happens.

It seems to be just on one side of the seam location. Is there a seam.setting the might help?

Nozzle 0.8mm. Print speed 50mm.

Any suggestions on what I might be able to tweak?

Thanks in advance.

Andy.

That is the print seam.

0,8 nozzle and 50 speed, is this possible to fast.

That is about as fast as you'd want for 0.24mm layer heights. If using any higher, slow down some.

Thanks everyone.

I will try a slower print speed to see if that helps. I wondered whether the retraction might me too high as it seems to not lay down the filament where the seam is. But then it only does it on a few layers and not the entire print.

I'll let you know what happens with slower speeds.

Thanks again.
