What kind of hardware specs do i need to run PrusaSlicer
So just like the title says, I am planning to buy an MK4S with my tax refund but while I'm waiting, figured I would install PrusaSlicer and get some models ready to go.
I have an MSI gaming laptop. The Alpha 17 A4DEK and the slicer is slow as all heck. Constantly freezing and taking absolutely forever to render the models I downloaded from Printables.
Windows 11 Home with all the drivers updated
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable)
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Does anybody have any ideas on how to optimize this for my laptop? Really don't want to blow another grand on a pc when I'm already spending close to 1200 bucks on the MK4S and accessories.
RE: What kind of hardware specs do i need to run PrusaSlicer
I had a ryzen 7 laptop for a short while, I was not happy,
I have gone back to Intel i7 computers. and I am much happier...
