What computer for PrusaSlicer?
Hello.
I need help choosing a computer on which I will use PrusaSlicer.
What parameters should I keep in mind? Does the program support graphics acceleration or does graphics card not matter and inetegra or a stronger processor enough?
Also how much ram - 8, 16 or 32GB? How much can the program use?
RE: What computer for PrusaSlicer?
It runs on anything quite well, even my lowly Asus network. I would be more concerned about running things like Blender and Freecad and the like.
Practically anything:
It runs on a Raspberry Pi at a reasonable speed, enough for most prints.
On Linux and Mac it runs acceptably on anything made in the last ten years, more memory is useful but 4GB is enough.
I don't have Windows to test it on but others here do so it should be OK.
Cheerio,

It'll run fine on pretty much any decent computer. Needs very little RAM. Don't waste money on any high end graphics cards, you won't see any advantage.

Are you sure? I've been comparing 2 different computers and I can see differences in the smoothness of operation and the speed of cutting objects.

Well “pretty much” means not a tablet. I just finished paying off a new ipad and now i have to get a laptop and looking at used mac books from 2016.
