What are these sparse "support rafts"?

PrusaSlicer always seems to want to put oversize rectilinear raftoids under support structures. They're indicated below with the pink arrows.

Is it possible to disable them? They unfortunately don't seem to be affected by any of the settings in the Support block.

My beef with them is that because of their lacy openness, they're relatively likely to be the site of first-layer adhesion problems. They also seem to crowd in on other elements, and I'm skeptical that they really help with adhesion of the supports that much (if, indeed, that is their purpose).

They stick fairly well to a clean bed; and not very well if the bed was recently wiped with alcohol.  To date, there is no option to disable them or to change them to 100% filled.  I placed a github request many moons back; it's basically something Prusa isn't interested in fixing.

if you have problems with the support raft adhering you need to looka t your first layer, either build sheet cleanliness or live Z height. those lines should stick firmly on a good first layer
