Weird first layer issue?
Trying to print this router bit holder, it thinks about 1/3rd of the surface is a layer deeper than the rest? Works fine in simplify.

I'd guess your part probably isn't sitting flat on the bed. Even a small error in flatness makes P.Slicer go crazy. Use actual rotation 90 to position the correct surface to the bed, it is less chancy that selecting a surface.
And please use the Drag and Drop feature of the forum to post images. then select the LINK TO : MEDIA FILE option before you click insert. Makes it a lot easier for others to see the image.

That did it! Never had an issue with the 'Place on face' option before, didn't think it would be the issue.
I designed it to be printed upside down with no supports, the top is on a 20 degree incline. So yeah, put the value in numerically and she's apples cobber. Cheers!

Hi Kenny,
when you add media (drag and drop a picture) if you select the link to: Media file option at the bottom right of the image insertion box, the picture will become clickable like the second image I put in your post above
I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK

It would be nice if there was an auto snap to print bed function. I know Cura has something like that. I also messed up a couple of prints because I wasn't aware of how I had the print orientated. I finally sat there and watched the 3rd print and realized that I must have messed it up.

It has a place to bed option already. However it works out various semi planar options for your models that you can then choose which to place to bed but sometimes due to the actual model it can have difficulty getting it perfectly down, so sometimes it best just to manually rotate. Or when you have it down 'flat' at the orientation you want cutting off the bottom layer if your model geometry allows it can also work to make the bottom perfectly flat to the bed.
I usually slice and them move the view to under the bed and look at the bottom layer generated just to make sure before printing.
