Vertical perimeter has gap in small (1.5mm) cylinder
I noticed that the external perimeter of a 1.5mm vertical cylinder is fine, but the inner perimeter has gaps in some layers. I was expecting such a small "pin" to be brittle, but the missing layers are not helping. Any idea what causes this and if it's possible to override a parameter for those pins so they are filled?
I'm using the default 0.15mm Quality print setting with an MK4 0.4 nozzle.

you are currently using Arachne for slicing perimeter generator. classic perimeter generator, might work better. with classic, the gap fill looks more even...
you may wish to use Random seam setting so that the seams are not in a row! this may help add a tiny bit more strength.

Is this 1.5mm OD?
A 0.4mm nozzle extrudes 0.45mm wide by default. So a 1.5mm 'solid' pin has room for three complete extrusion widths and a variable gap of just over 1mm; that's once round the outside and a dot in the middle. A cylinder with a 0.45mm single thickness wall is theoretically printable in vase mode but cooling will be a nightmare.
0.15mm layers won't help, thicker layers may aid cooling but don't expect miracles.
In general, regard any such pin under 3mm as a curiosity rather than practical.

Exactly these pins will snip if you merely look at them. One can try to improve the layer adhesion a bit by glazing them for example with plastic glue, that won't change dimensions significantly but melt at least the surface a bit together.
Maybe if you print this part in PCTG or PC-Blend you might stand a chance. The latter I would recommend only for people with good 3d printing experience.

Thanks both. I did not expect these pins to be very strong, but there won't be much stress on them. I'm more curious to understand why PrusaSlicer does not print perimeters on all layers. If you look at the screenshots, you will see that the external perimeter (orange) is sliced correctly, but the perimeter (yellow) is only present for some layers.

If you can upload a zip compressed 3mf project file we have a better chance at helping answer your question because that will show us the model in all its glory *and* all your settings. There may be ways to get this to print by adjusting extrusion width and other parameters but without seeing the specifics of the model, it's only guesswork.

Classic as Joan suggested is a good option here.
Or you can play with some of the Arachne parameters. I found that changing Print Settings>Advanced>Arachne Perimeter Generator>Minimum perimeter width to 40% gives you what I think you'd expect.
