Using Infill for FDM Prints after |Hollowing them in SL1S Slicer

Hello Guys,

i've been recently trying to hollow my prints in FDM slicer, but it didn't work, now i found a way to hollow them with Prsuaslicer SL1S  slicer, now after doing that i imported them in the FDM slicer but when i use infill, it doesn't seem to work..  my goal is to infill under the top perimeters only, any idea how to solve this ?

thanks all in advance!

It’s hard to tell what the issue you are having is without your project file. Or at an absolute bare minimum several pictures of the model and the slice preview. Project would be a million times better though. basically anything is a guess.
Use File>save project as to save a 3mf from PRUSA slicer. The 3mf contains the models and ll the settings you are using. With one we can see exactly what is happening.

Once you have your 3mf, ZIP it up and attach it to a reply here. Must be zipped or the forum won’t accept the file.

From your brief description though a couple of points, if you have hollowed out the model to create a Void inside then there won’t be any infill put inside it. Infill goes between perimeters.  A void inside an object is still external as far as 3D printing is concerned. Supports are what goes on the outside of perimeters to support them. And of course you don’t want support inside a void of a model as you can’t remove them afterwards. And if you can’t remove them then what is the point of having a hollow in the first place.  Just post a project lol.
