User Presents Migration

I'm looking to test the new PrusaSlicer 2.3 a1 and want to use my version 2.2 user presents 🙂 Do I just copy them from a directory within 2.2 to a directory in 2.3 and if so can someone tell the directory location? Or how to carry out this migration, please

You could do that but that would replace the ones from 2.2.0 over the 2.3.0 ones and the 2.3.0 ones are very likely to have extra 'stuff' in them.  Theres a menu item in Prusa Slicer that says show me the configuration directory (or words to that meaning) so its easy to locate them.

Copying the folder contents is the only way to copy the prusa default print, filament and printer settings without having to go through the wizard again.

The proper way though is to open 2.2.0, and select File>export>Export Config Bundle.  That will save out all of your modified/custom profiles for Print/Filaments/printers to an xml file.  But only the modified ones.

You then install 2.3.0, run through the wizard to install any of the prusa default printers and filaments and after thats finished you then just import your previously exported config bundle.  Thats the usual way to also back up any customised profiles you may have just for keep sakes or transferring between machines.

I'd only recommend doing the folder copying between the same versions, major versions anyway like a 2.2.x to 2.2.x.
