Unespected filament change
Hello guys, I'm a new member from Italy.
I'm slicing my prints with Prusa slicer Version 2.4.2, the printer is a Sovol Sv02 with a phaetus taichi Hotend.
I'm noticing some issues with dual color prints. After the first color is printed, the printer does a color change like M600, so it unloads the filament , then reload ecc...
But it's kind of a loop, because the print doesn't restart, but it the printer restart the color change over and over..
I have checked the gcode, and I couldn't find any M600 command in there.
I'm suspecting the issue is caused by the function ''Prime all printing extruders''. Infact if I disable it the print has no issues and no color change manouvers.
Do you have any suggestion to fix this? What should I check?
Thanks all.
RE: Unespected filament change
I'm not sure I understand.. here's what I think your issue is.. You do a dual color print, that prints a 2nd color at a certain layer.. That works fine.. But if you bring other bodies into the slicer they also undergo a color swap, even if you don't want them to.. If that is the issue, I've had that before.. When you do a layer-specific color change, the slider to the right of the plater indicates the layer of the color change.. In fact, by clicking on the "+" here, you can do a color change at any layer.. If you don't restart the slicer and simply click on another STL file, the color change by layer stays from the model before. You manually have to go to this slider and delete the color changes. So you click the "x" in the image below.. Is this the issue?
RE: Unespected filament change
I don't think that's my problem.
I'm doing a dual color print, with 2 stl objects.
When I activate "Prime all printing extruders" it prints the first material, it doesn't print the prime tower, but it makes a Pause for color change.
If I don't activate "Prime all printing extruders" it works fine. It prints the first material, than it makes the color change automaticly printing the prime tower,
