Unable to change fill angle

Hey folks. I'm starting to experiment with translucent prints. One of the ideal settings for that is to set the fill angle to not offset 90 degrees. I've tried all sorts of different values in Print Settings/Infill/Advanced/Fill angle, but no matter what I change the value to, the slicer still offsets each layer 90 degrees from the previous.

Is there another setting that overrides this?

I'm on a mk4 running firmware 5.1.3+13503, PrusaSliver 2.7.2

thx!

Fuchsr is correct Prusa Slicer will always alternate the infill angles. EXCEPT.  There is one infill type that was specifically added for translucent printing.  That infill is Aligned Rectilinear.

The bottom layers and top layers that use rectilinear for the Solid Infill portion of the print will still alternate though so if you want it ALL the same way the usual config is to set top and bottom layers to zero and then 100% Aligned rectilinear for infill.

Other slicers have settings allowing you to set a 'step' angle of each layer of infill for all the patterns so adding on 270 degrees to the stop can make them no rotate as such or you can get pretty patterns by altering the step angle.

RE:

Fill angle only affects the initial angle, relative to the print bed's x/y coordinate system. To my knowledge there's no way to change the angle between one layer and the next.
