Thickening things.

I am trying to build this - https://www.printables.com/model/200431-nanoleaf-hex-modular

To get it to fit on the mini, I was lazy and just scaled everything to 92%. All fits together well. However, the diffusion is a little lacking.  Is there an easy way in Prusa slicer to thicken the diffuser section, or will I need to do something in a modeller package?

You can use the scale tool in slicer to change size in just one plane.  If this is not enough, then yes, you need modelling software.

Cheerio,

Thanks. The scaling in one plane didn’t work too well. Just been through the learning curve of converting a mesh in fusion 360 and increased the surface from .5mm to 1mm. I guess I will know in a couple of hours whether that was enough or too much.

It worked well. 5 plates printed 4 to go. Gotta love 3D printing.
