Supports issue

Hello,

I found strange support sticks in this print although there are support blockers in this place. The two thin "sticks on either side are generated although the blockers are there and the option for support on buildplate only is active. I found several times that supports are generated on the object even if this option is active. Why does it do this? Does anyone have similar issues with supports.

Thanks

Kind regards

If I move both of the support blockers together, well into the gap, it appears to do what you want.

RE: Supports issue

Do you have the 'support on build plate only' option selected?  It looks like those phantom supports originate on a layer of the print.

Would you be willing to share the .stl file?  I'm curious and I would like to try duplicating this issue.

@jsw

Sure, here is the 3MF. I used support with interface spacing of 200%. Thanks for the investigation.

Edit: sorry, it doesnt let me upload 3MF so I renamed it to .TXT

I do not see any attached file.  Please remember that you will need to .zip it up.

Edit.  Make it into a .zip file.
