Support first layer is weaker than a body?

The support first layer doesn't print as solid as a part of the actual model, thus having weaker bed adhesion. Is there any reason why the first layer of the support is so weak? I've set "first layer density" to 100%, but the support first layer still isn't the same as a normal first layer, causing it to shift on the build plate.

Isn't there a setting to use the same first layer settings for support as for the model? Since I have zero first layer problems when printing a model without support.

RE:

Your post is making no scene what so ever, if you select 100% density, then you should be getting the same as any part of the first layer, that said I'm not using PS 2.5  or the equally pathetic 2.6 alpha 4. have you tried the same settings in the more stable version 2.4.1?

RE: Support first layer is weaker than a body?

My organic supports failed couple times by moving from their place. It gets worse when the "tentacle" gets longer and furter from the base in X-Y. Im printing some miniatures latelly and with the figure in the middle of the element and some round base around, all supports grow to one side and it's easy for them to peel from the bed.

The only solution i have for now is to raise first layer expansion value.

This made me add 1 layer high blocks to the print to stabilize the supports and it works fine now.

@teachtheprints

Were you use Organic supports, for the question posted?

Yes. Organic supports on PS 2.6 alpha 3.

The issue didn't occur on grid support on PS 2.4.

I was asking because you made no mention of this, in any way in your initial post.
