Suggestion.. for More Cooling Control...
maybe i am missing something.. i am trying to refine the cooling profile for a component that has a mix of small and thin features.. separated.. hare to explain.. be just a thought to solve me problem.. on advanced settings for enabling cooling..would be nice.. or nearly perfect if modifiers could carry controls for cooling in addition to infill and layer parameters.....
meaning.. for a small or thin features..i could turn active cooling on for regions of interest.. etc.. and instead of defining layer by timeframe for cooling.. how about adding in areas.. or regions with some sort of volume measurement to apply cooling.. kind of like in cura where regions below a set value can have some special mesh profile activated 100% infill.. etc.. but in this case.. have our requested cooling profile activated..
also.. in the slice view.. where you can select the legend to show different feature types like speed... it would be helpful to view the layer times.. since your current cooling thresholds is stated in times... kind of hard to determine.. or really control where the cooling is needed.. thats where i think adding this cooling capability into the modifiers would be nice.. how about controlling nozzle temp with modifiers also?.. why not speed?.. looks like this would open a whole new range of used for modifiers.. and making it in a visual format.. would be easier to visualize.. since we are using a visual interface to begin with..

this region where all the triangles meet is a difficult area to get correct with the filaments i am using.. modifiers would make life easier with the added ability to control cooling.. especially with that center post.. modifiers make life easier.. would be a really slick option if modifiers had this additional control.. hard to visualize this region in function of time.. when the visualization type doesnt have option to show times..
