Suggestion: Add feature to see how long it takes to get to a specific layer
I have a print that has a "scary" layer and I'm waiting for it so I can adjust/cancel if it fails. Thought occurred that if there's already an algorithm to calculate total time then it may be simple enough to break the time to each layer. BTW I just built my MK3s a week ago so I'm very new to all this. I'f the feature already exists or there's already a tool for that please someone teach me. Much appreciated!

OH I just found a workaround! if you go to the layer you want to know about just add a different color there! Then "color 1" is the time it takes! And you can add as many as you want! Of course you'd wanna put the single color G-code on the SD but this is a great trick to find out! Still think the feature would be a nice addition but I wanted to post my workaround for any curious viewers.

I'm not sure, why you need the print time for each layer - In the g-code there is estimated time codes, used for display (if activated) saved as M73 codes.
An explanation of M73 can be found here M73: Set/Get build percentage
If the layer height is known the nearest time code can be found in the g-code.
Hope that is useful.
