Strange infill method, how to avoid this?

Why does PrusaSlicer at Layer 9 not make an complete infill? It leaves a lot of free space around the corners. But I want it to fill everything up to the holes in the object. In the next layer it will make a complete fill and close the holes, as it should be. I checked the object and tried to optimize the thickness of the holes, but it did not help. Is there maybe an option for this, that I have missed?

if you observe your project in feature mode, you may notice that Slicer is applying a bridging layer to span the void one layer below those areas. this is necessary, and a normal part of slicing. In fact a portion of your model requires support that you have not applied.

As usual, the way to get help grounded in data not just hunches is to upload a zip-compressed 3mf project file, so we can see ALL your settings as well as the model. From pictures alone, who knows.

I tried this but the forum systems says that it is not allowed to add 3mf file for security reasons. I have zipped it with 7zip. It does not make much sense to me but now I was able to add it:.test

I ran out of edit time, but you certainly could flip the one part, and avoid the problem all together.

Thank you for the reply. It seems that I have a 0.01mm void in my model. I changed a couple of things in my model, and now the infill is complete. It seems you are right, my model had a problem, some kind of void, that I have missed maybe. Thank you for your help.

Yeah, you're not alone. We've all been praying to the Great Jo for years to allow 3mf files to be uploaded to the forum, to no avail.
