Strange extra material added in batch prints

Hi All,

I'm having trouble printing 3mf projects supplied by Authentikit for the Spitfire MkIX throttle (open source download). The Authentikit team generally work in Cura but I was hoping to be able to use PrusaSlicer because of the great support for my printer (i3 mk3s+)

As you can see from the photos, holes in the parts are being closed up during the slicing process - which has me confused!

This doesn't happen if I load the parts individually, and I'm using the same settings that I used to sucessfully print the Spitfire control column.

Does anyone have any clues for me please? 🙂

Opened your project.  The plate full has over 485000 open edges.  The yellow warning triangle is there for a reason, take note of it when it appears.  Every single one of them are broken to some extent.  Using the right click and fix through netfabb option available on  the windows version of PS fixes them and allows them to slice correctly.

Attached the 3mf with it fixed.

Batch-1-Black

Sorry - I just saw the advice to add the file so I've put it here. No need to download 🙂

Thank you!

The slicer reports about half a million errors in that plate file - see the warning triangles beside the part listing.

The design software or its output module is faulty.  PS manages to fix most of them so, if you break the plate into parts and print them individually you should get most of it OK.  For the rest it might be easist to redesign.  You can try loading the parts into your design software of choice and re-saving.  Unfortunately the best free fixing software has just been bought up and moved into a commercial product.

Well done @neophyl.  For some reason the Netfab software isn't working here.
