Split into parts suddenly does not work
Any idea why PS 2.8.1 would all of the sudden not allow me to split a model into parts?

Please post your problem prusa slicer project file. Don't forget to zip it up for the forum or it wont be attached.
Split to parts is working for me with all versions including 2.8.1 (windows 10 install). So we need a saved PS project to examine to have any idea why it cant be split. The model you loaded as a separate item in the zip file may also be useful.

It is quite simple why it doesn't split to parts. Your stl file consists of a single shell. There is nothing to split.
This is opening your stl in 3d-tool. If I open it in blender, its the same, a proper manifold mesh of the shape you have made. So the issue if there is any lies with F360. Not that there's anything wrong with that mesh, its perfectly manifold with no intersecting faces, edges etc. I'd say it was perfect, and has zero errors.
If you actually want 2 separate overlapping meshes Id check your fusion export settings. Of course that will get you a mesh with intersecting faces etc so will have errors, but will let you split it into separate bodies.
