Some shapes do not get sliced

Hello,
What am I doing wrong ? (Yes I am beginner at this, so it can be pretty simple and stupid mistake)

So I create model in blender (link is here https://www.dropbox.com/s/7k0fwlcagab04dd/cover_share.blend?dl=0 )

Then import it into the prusa slicer (first warning occurs, the dark green splash on some parts of flat surface, reason unknown ?)

Finally I do the slicing and some of the shapes get lost.

So the dark green parts got lost. I dont know why.

In blender everything looks fine, in slicer, it is odd, but the shape of the object is ok until I do the actual slicing.

Please advise me how to fix this, is this error of slicer or model ? And is there any way to fix this in slicer / blender ?

RE: Some shapes do not get sliced

I Am not a Blender expert, infact today is the first time I have ever used blender...

I was unable to open the ,blend file, (Hence lading Blender)

within Blender I exported the item as a .stl file, which I opened in Prusa Slicer
the model opened face down, and like you, I could only see some of the features
so I rotated the modl 90 degrees so that one side was on the build plate and I got

the orange triangle message identifies an error in the STL, I then used the "Fix with the Netfabb" option in Prusa slicer... (you May need to be in Expert mode)
And Netfabb fixed that particular error
rotating the face down again, and re slicing now shows

which I think shows your details.

regards Joan

What Joan said. I just wanted to emphasize her last image.

If you see that warning triangle next to one of the objects, incorrect slicing is most likely due to some mesh issues. Those issues occur quite frequently, no matter if you export from Blender, Meshmixer or a CAD program like freecad. Try correction wie netfabb as shown above and in most cases this should resolve the problem.

The usual causes for "missing features" that account for 90+% of cases:

1. Errors in the STL. Obviously, that warning triangle should be 4 times larger and flashing red, because apparently nobody seems to notice it..

2. Features are too thin to print with current nozzle and extrusion width. Activating "Detect thin walls" may help but should really be fixed in the model itself.

Some design tools are more prone than others to generate STL errors, and downloads from Thingiverse are notorious for featuring one or the other of these issues

RE:

Tomas, activate the 3dPrint tool from inside Blender.

I loaded your file and ran the check all function in Blender that the 3dprint tool gives you.  It shows 12 Non Manifold edges (which are death to slicers), 49 Bad contiguous edges, 8 intersecting faces.  So the model you created has quite a few errors.  Unfortunately the make manifold option deosnt work to fix it in Blender as the geometry is so messed up it cant tell what it should be fixing.

If you are going to make models with 3d printing in mind  then you have to model differently and always check at each step that you are going to be getting a suitable output.  Its something you learn over time.  Its why many models dont 3d print well or at all as while they 'look' ok from a visible render perspective they arent valid solid geometry.

The netfabb fix that joan pictured above also still seems to have differences to the original model so I think it is having trouble with this too.
