solid infill problems before top solid infill
Hi, after the latest updates I believe from 2.7, Prusa creates this texture in the solid infill under the top layer that I can't eliminate, and it creates visible defects that it didn't do before. Is there a way to remove this setting?
I had tried a solution with height range modifiers, but I could only do it in the last layers and having to print objects with different heights I cannot use this solution.
Please help me!! Thank you

I also have been having this exact issue, any help would be greatly appreciated!

adding a zip compressed copy of your project file for this model would help us look at this issue,
however,
as a guess,
have you tried reducing the flow rate, a little once the print has started (well before the final layers! ?
or reducing the extrusion multiplier by 0.05 (change the normal 1, to 0.95) during slicing
this may make the solid layers smoother

Simple answer is no, there's no setting to stop it doing that. Its done by design and the devs think there's nothing wrong with it. It was added in 2.6. Might want to go add your voice to https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/10573 which I think is the current open issue for this.

in fact it was from this version onwards, but in superslicer or orcaslicer you can choose. except that I feel better with Prusa, it would be nice to be able to choose whether to have linear or snail filling

thanks I will definitely do it
