Slicer Crashing slicing for my MK3S

Currently running PrusaSlicer-2.9.2 .. no problem slicing for my SL1S .. all day and twice on Tuesday no problem. When I slice for my MK3S it crashes every time. I have the same problem with 2.9.1 .. I can slice using Unimaker Cura no problem. I have tried re-booting and slicing with nothing else open incase in might be a memory issue but no luck. This is probably something specific to my computer but ... any suggestions as to point me in the right direction to resolve this?

RE: Slicer Crashing slicing for my MK3S

i have the same problem. It seems it crashes when it starts to extract the g-code. The funny thing is, i changed nothing and it seems it works better when i have stable WLAN. i tried reinstalling it but it did not work. OpenGL is up to date. has anyone a clue what this might be?

RE:

Same for me, when i started my old Prusaslicer version of 2.7 it prompted me to update.
I did and just before finishing slicing for my MK3 it crashed (well the app just vanished). I tried a few times, always the same outcome.
Went back to 2.7 and everything works as intended.
@Prusa: Please dont forget your old base.

RE:

Just as a matter of fact, Slicer 2.9.2 and in fact every version since and after Slicer 2.4.2 has been absolute crap. 2.9.0 and on has been almost worthless as a slicer, (aside from the fact that you can't use your newer prusa printers without it) the community is unfortunately very poorly educated, and the developers of Slicer (Prusa company) have slipped you a green weenie. most users, uneducated will disagree, however they, the uneducated continue to be the ones pointing out this truth.

I would revert to the last version that worked properly for you and rather then looking for a newer version, spend time learning how to use the older versions to their fullest, you will be surprised what they could do, and if you learn them to the fullest, you will be pissed off at what they have taken from you in the newer versions.

It's your call, but now at least you can't say you haven't been told.

Regards
