Slicer always asks for password on physical printer tab
Since the update to 2.9.1 or the one before the slicer always asks for user and password for the defined physical printer (Mini+ with Plink via WLAN) on "Physical Printer"-Tab. Exporting Gcode to the printer works without the need to specify user and password.
How can I configure the Slicer to also store user and password for the "Physical Printer"-Tab as in the past?
RE:
I have the same issue with 2.9.2 - since I can't custom select a reasonable password, I have to copy & paste each time. It's enough to drive one crazy....
RE: Slicer always asks for password on physical printer tab
I have lots of issues with 2.92, this is one, and disappearing printer profiles, but Prusa doesn't seem to be monitoring or offering solutions?? Does anyone know of a up-to-date and comprehensive tutorial that includes instructions on organizing custom printing profiles. Prusa slicer defaults (Like outer brim) and minimum shell thicknesses ( Default value is 0 for automatic but there is always a value that needs to be edited out???? Why?).
I'd like to modify the presets to my own settings but cannot save my changes. Why?
I'd like to have one of my MK4S printers set up with a .6 nozzle... Why doesn't Prusa expect that users might want this and offer profiles for my needs... so many questions... getting frustrated... WHERE CAN I FIND A FULL TUTORIAL??
RE: Slicer always asks for password on physical printer tab
Mine is doing the same but I cannot enter a password as it hides underneath the slicer itself and just flashes up when I hit the reload on the something went wrong bit.
RE: Slicer always asks for password on physical printer tab
I have the same issue. I don't now use the physical printer tab as a result. So, there was no point taking the time to set it up. My web browser will at least allow me to auto fill the user and password, so I use that as the interface and then drag and drop the gcode to the web browser.
Its proper annoying tough!
