Shortcuts for e.g. top and bottom fill pattern
Hello,
in the old Slic3r there was the possiblity to select print parameters to be set directly on the main page of the slicer - just like the infill and the brim selection.
Is this also possible with Pruse Slicer? And if so - how?

Swiss in Slic3r you can customise the settings that are listed in the right hand panel. The global ones, there are already tick boxes for brim, the support dropdown option, the infill % etc. Well those can be modified and they are remembered across uses of the software.
Its not the same as modifiers which are just applied to the models.
And for the original poster, no that functionality is not in Prusa Slicer, though there has been a github request for it made already.

Right-click on the object and select 'Add Settings' (at the bottom of the drop down menu). The setting(s) you select will then appear in the right panel.

Here is a work-around that might be of interest. The display of settings is dependent on the object. I am assuming you want settings on the main page for any object you will slice in future. You could import an .stl of a cube for example and then arrange your settings as you prefer to appear in the right panel. Save this project as cube-settings.3mf for example. Then when you want to work on an actual object, open cube-settings.3mf. Right click on the cube and select 'Replace with .stl' and select your actual .stl from your hard drive. Your settings and any other dependencies such as modifiers will now be applied to the new object.

Neophyl I understood what settings the OP was talking about, what I wasn't (and still might not be) understanding is what the OP wanted to do with them. I'm still not sure but I think Sylvia is on the right track (unfortunately, "Replace with STL" is only available in the Beta). I think the OP is trying to set and save the object settings for an individual object and then be able to apply them to a new object later on. You can do this. Aside from the way Sylvia describes for the Beta, you can save out the .3mf with all the settings you want to use over and over on different objects, then in Slicer 2.3.3 & the 2.4 Beta you can import the saved .3mf with all the settings and simply copy and past them to the new object, I want to point out that this also is non destructive in several ways, for example you can start working on the model you want in slicer, adding supports and seam placements and alike, and then without loosing that work you can simply copy the information in one big chunk to the new object, and you won't loose the data from your previous work.
I explained this briefly in a previous post where a user was looking for style selections in slicer, to be saved and applied across a variety of models.
