Set printing order of parts?
I might be missing it, but there's no apparent way to tell PrusaSlicer to print a specific part first?
So, last night I started a print. One really big thing with a huge first layer, a medium sized thing, and then a smaller thing with two small contact areas. Now, my Prusa is pretty reliable, and the only time I get an issue is sometimes the first layer, with small stuff, won't adhere well enough. So, after about 45 minutes doing the first layer, it failed on that last, smallest patch! I swapped the print model listing around in the slicer, thinking that might change the order, but it didn't.
The workaround I found is that it will print the brim first, so I added a brim just to the smaller part, and that printed first, then went to start the big part, and when I checked, the brim was well adhered, so I trusted it to work, and went to bed - it was a 12 hour print. And sure enough, it successfully finished next afternoon.
Is there a better way?
Sequential printing, it's in:
Print Settings/Output options/ [Sequential printing] Complete individual objects: (tick the box)
Use "travel" to view the order, it can be adjusted by part placement in the Sidebar panel.

RE: Set printing order of parts?
That's not what I'm after. I don't want the entire print of one item, then the next, and so on, I just want it to start with a specific object, print the first layer of that, then the next, and so on. Exactly as normal, but so I can say "Start with the middle of the bed stuff first" or "That one part I know is likely to fail, start with that, then do the rest, one layer at a time".

I just spotted this same topic in the forum "related topics" below: https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/prusaslicer/order-of-printing-multiple-items
