save as stl with supports

Is there a way to enable export file as stl with supports? I see the option, but it is grayed out and un clickable. I am using a sculpto pro 2 (not in expert mode) and on the file in the picture I cannot get it to print with supports so I thought if the file already had them that would solve the problem

RE: save as stl with supports

This is only available in resin printer profile.
start configuration assistent, load profile of SL1 series, if needed extend the plate size: (printer bedshape).
slice the object with supports.
export with support 🙂
But.... those supports will look very differently, so you have to shape a lot before they are equal to the supports you are used to.
example:  Y.stl

So maybe better to create the supports you need in your CAD program.

Thank you it worked, unfortunately my printer (sculpto  pro 2 ) will only accept a 120 mb file.

Never heard of that printer. Just searched it on internet. Seems to be only Danish?
There maybe tricks in prusaslicer to get less big file.
If you upload your 3mf file here (first zip!), we can have a look at see if we can get it smaller.

I've given up on that file and went with something else. It is a basic printer, and it makes wonderful prints.
