[Request] Override Mesh Bed Leveling in PrusaSlicer
I've discovered some parts (usually those with larger surface areas contacting the print bed) benefit from the 7x7, 5-sample maximum precision mesh bed leveling. However, that's kind of silly for a 30m print that has 1 square inch of bed contact.
Is it possible for PrusaSlicer to, either through custom GCode or a future feature, have a setting that overrides the printer so I don't have to change said setting on the machine?

have you tried taking the mesh bed levelling command out of the start Gcode?
M109 S[first_layer_temperature] ; wait for extruder temp
G28 W ; home all without mesh bed level
G80 ; mesh bed leveling
G1 Y-3.0 F1000.0 ; go outside print area
G92 E0.0
You may have to do the mesh bed levelling on the first print of the day, to set up the Mesh map in RAM...
I just use 7x7 all of the time...

Do what Joan suggests.
Remove the mesh level command from the start gcode. Save as a new printer profile, like 'no mesh'. The slice something very small and quick to print with your normal profile so that it has the mesh levelling in. Save it to the root of your printer.
Now slice all your other models with the no mesh profile.
Then at the start of the day/printing session print the small object that included the mesh levelling. That will set up the levelling. You can then print all your other models without the mesh levelling happening as they wont include the command.
I do the same as John though and just use 7x7 all the time. A few seconds extra doesnt really matter that much.

It's only a 3om print if it succeeds. If it pops up to an easily preventable problem, multiple attempts can take longer. I've found that 5 minutes of prep time ensuring a good print saves me much more time than skipping any preparation steps. In particular, if you are removing the sheet to pop previous prints loose or otherwise handled the sheet, there's a good chance the bed level measurements have changed. A full 7x7 calibration takes something like 45 seconds. I've gotten used to the idea that time "saved" up front is rarely worth the effort.
You can skip the nice automatic mesh bed leveling feature that you paid for and treat your Prusa like a $200 printer of course. I have to do so with my actual $200 printer. For all the twiddling I have to do with that thing, I really wish it had ABL!

How about making printer to be in normal mode for mesh bed leveling?
It's much faster.
And then make is silent mode again.
