Regression Bug in PrusaSlicer 2.3.0
One regression bug and one related improvement. I am sorry to report here, but I am not a member of github.
In PrusaSlicer 2.2, a tool tip would appear when hovering the mouse cursor over Print Settings, showing the full name of the Print Setting (especially helpful when the name is longer than the field).
In PrusaSlicer 2.3, no such tool tip appears.
1. Would you please restore this feature? My Print Settings names are descriptive, so they are long. After updating to Version 2.3, I can no longer determine the Print Settings name.
There is also no tool tip for the Filament or Printer field. I don't remember if the feature existed in Version 2.2, but it would be very helpful to incorporate the tool tip feature for those fields, too.
2. An improvement would be to display the full setting names when the list is opened (or enable a tool tip when hovering or at the cursor focus, i.e., scrolling through the list), since neither the list nor the field can be widened in the interface.

I understand and apologize again, but I don't have a github account and don't wish to have one. Would you please report the bug and improvement? If not, the bug may sadly remain.

Sorry but I am not experiencing the bug. I have no evidence to back up such a report. When opening an issue the developers expect certain basic minimal information (rightly so as they need to duplicate the issue).
What operating system, what is your screen resolution etc. For me the drop downs and profile fields exceed the length of the names in them by a considerable margin.
If you are unwilling to create a report then you will just have to hope someone else also is experiencing it and can be bothered to report it. Until then you will just have to live with it.

towlerg, thank you; you have exposed a gap in my description. I neglected to state that the missing tool tips are in the upper right corner on the Plater tab for the Print Settings field and the Filament field (the Printer field has a tool tip).
I do have a tooltip on the Filament Settings tab, as in your image, as well as on the Print Settings tab and the Printer Settings tab.
