Questions about modifying the rectilinear infill pattern or controlling the tool path
Hello,
I want to print a structure (cylinder) solely consisting of 40% rectlinear infill with a shift of every 3rd and 4th layer by a certain length. For better understanding, I add a Zip file where you can see how the structure should look like:
I have two problems with this structure.
The first one is that the easiest way to print this structure is by defining an infill that gives me such a pattern and apply this on a solid cylinder. Am I right that with Prusa Slicer such a infill cannot be defined since I only can change the angle of the first layer and the upper ones are set by Prusa itself? Is there any slicer out there where I can define such an infill?
Second problem: Instead of creating me an infill for a solid cylinder, I can create this structure relatively easy in a CAD program (as you can see in the zipped file) and print this with a solid infill. The problem is that slicing with Prusa leads to a tool path that prints the strains (nearly) all from the same site of the cylinder instead of printing the strains in zig zag path (like for normal rectlinear filling) as can be seen in the picture below. How can I adept my settings that the tool path is constantly zig zag for each layer?
