PrusaSlicer with Qidi x-cf Pro Thumbnails Problem
Hello everyone...
I have a Qidi x-cf Pro and am trying to use it with Prusa Slicer. Since I've been working with Prusa for a while, I don't want to use the Qidi Slicer. I downloaded the FFF config file for x-cf Pro from Qidi Web and inserted it into Prusa. It's not perfect but it works so far.
- My problem is that I can't get thumbnails (miniature images) on the printer from Prusa. Can you help me further with this?
- If a better config file is available, I would be very happy about it.
If the developers of Prusa Slicer are also present here, it would be very, very positive and desirable if the Qidi and Flashforce printers also had a direct config in the Prusa slicer.

Do you have anything in Printer Settings -> General -> Firmware -> G-code thumbnails? (you need to be in expert mode to see that for some reason). If not, try adding something like 200x200/PNG (or whatever size you want) and see if that works.

I tested the following sizes, unfortunately without success.
200x200, 220x220, 240x240, 260x260, 280x280, 300x300, 320x320, 340x340, 360x360, 380x380, 400x400, 420x420, 440x440, 460x460

When you tested them did you have the png part of the setting ? For example "32x32/PNG, 300x300/PNG" which generates an includes a 32x32 and a 300x300 png into the gcode ?
Also it may be that your qidi printer doesnt use png format. Printers like the elegoo neptune 3 use a proprietary format so arent compatible with PS either. What does qidi's slicer (which looks to be based on PS or Susi) have in there for that printer ?

But with the g-code of Prusa Slicer, thumbnails are written but it is not displayed on the printer.

That block of characters IS the thumbnail. However I meant the configuration settings in the qidi slicer software.
