PrusaSlicer Team: Let Third-Party Filament Makers In
Letter to the PrusaSlicer Team: Let Third-Party Filament Makers In
Dear PrusaSlicer Team,
Your slicer is an industry benchmark. But it’s missing a critical link—a dedicated channel for third-party filament manufacturers to submit validated material profiles. Right now, users are forced to manually configure everything, and serious suppliers have no proper pathway.
It’s high time to:
Launch a submission platform for certified profiles
Let reputable brands like eSUN, Polymaker, and others submit directly
Add an API or UI section to download and manage official third-party filament profiles
Everyone wins: users get better results, manufacturers build trust, and the slicing ecosystem becomes richer. Openness is the next step in evolution.
We’re counting on you to make it happen.
Sincerely, A passionate user who wants to print—not guess.
RE: PrusaSlicer Team: Let Third-Party Filament Makers In
I'm afraid you are posting in the wrong place. This is a user to user forum and the Dev's don't use here.
Anything Prusa related must be posted over at their official github.
For prusa slicer related issues that is located here https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues
For settings specific issues that is https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer-settings/issues
Please follow the submission guidelines and please do a search of both OPEN and CLOSED issues before opening new ones. There are over 4.9K open ones already and over 8.5k closed ones so a lot of ground has already been covered.

Readme on https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer-settings states where to post the submissions with filament updates.
