prusaslicer not working with macOS Catalina
just updated to macOS Catalina and now I cannot use prusaslicer 2.1 and get a message that the app can't be checked for malware and needs updating. Tried several times - same message. Slic3r 1.4.3 works fine!!!

I think I'll hold off on Catalina then! There was a mention of this issue in the recent software release notes. They're working on the issue. I recall you're supposed to be able to right-click on the icon to approve the app and get it going.

I tried using prusaslicer 2.0 and that works with Catalina

Works fine for me. You have to go to security settings and explicit allow this app to start. Standard gatekeeper process for not apple signed software.

What also worked for me finally was restoring prusaslicer 2.1 from a time machine backup made prior to installing Catalina

The new drivers version 2.2.8 addresses Catalina concerns.

Thanks! I was having the same problem and what you said worked! By the way, I was using macOS Mojave 10.14.6.
