PrusaSlicer 2.9.4 says updated March 24, 2026...
But, 2.9.4 has been out for months... is there an update dropping?
RE: PrusaSlicer 2.9.4 says updated March 24, 2026...
Not sure what you mean. Are you referring the the artifact time stamps in github?

If you go to the page where the firmware and software links are on prusa3d.com, it says March 24,2026 for PrusaSlicer 2.9.4

That's just a typo. Look here instead: https://files.prusa3d.com/?latest=slicer-stable&lng=en
Or here: https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/releases/tag/version_2.9.4
RE: PrusaSlicer 2.9.4 says updated March 24, 2026...
I saw that.. which is why I wondered if there's a new version in the green room and they accidently touched the date.

Nope. The next version will be 3.0.0 coming (I hope) next month.
RE:
One option is that AppImage/Flatpak could be rebuilt with newer base dependencies.
Another option is that maybe it gave info about updated profiles? Those were recently updated few times.
Third option is that maybe due sone caching the modification time of he cache was just updated, (not sure how exactly the software checks the changes, but I have seen that in other places).
PrusaSlicer 3.x.x is away for some pretty few months, and maybe tere will be a new 2.x.x version before that.
See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

I just assumed that someone made a mistake when updating the release date for the firmware and updated both the firmware and slicer release dates. (I've only been monitoring the C1+ support page, and not the others.)
