PrusaSlicer 2.8.0 gives incorrect total print time with a specific filament choice

I sliced a model with the "SainSmart TPU" filament and got the result in the first image (~4 hours total print time).

I then changed only the filament to "Esun PLA", resliced, and got the results in the second image showing a much larger total print time. All the print times for specific sub-features look very similar, the amount of filament required is very close too, it's only the total print time that somehow jump from ~4 hours to ~7 hours for some reason.

Any idea why?

Not without copies of the 2 projects as you are slicing them.  Slice with one settings and then File>Save Project as.  Then change the settings, slice again to see the new times and then save the second project with a different name.  Then ZIP up both project files and attach them here.  Must be zipped or the forum wont attach anything.

With both projects we can load them in and compare things for ourselves and see.  Without the projects its all guesswork.

If I had to guess I would suspect that the slow down if print times are below xx is configured differently in the filaments.  With the projects I could use the previews and select speed  from the dropdown and compare.

Thanks for the project files.

The speed difference is due to the fact that the TPU filament profile has over rides enabled, the biggest difference being z lifts turned off (set to zero) and that the retraction settings etc are also over ridden.  If you selectively turn those over rides on/off and slice you will see the time difference each has.
Z travel is the slowest of all movements and lifting on each layer between islands , especially with the sheer amount of tiny islands this airless ball has, is multiplying the difference and making it much more apparent.
