RE: PrusaSlicer 2.6.0-beta1 is out

Unable to select run as program in properties. So the slicer can no longer run independently without a utility. I use lunix mint 21.1 as operating system. How do i solve this?

I am on debian. I used git and compiled it as per the instructions on github for compiling on linux. Same result as the versions before.
But I also use the AppImages for the stable versions to have several versions of PS at my disposal. I would expect that this AppImage runs. That is the type I downloaded for the stable versions. To be sure I just tested the AppImage in the link. It starts without a problem. After downloading the AppImage you have to do a "chmod +x <filename>" on it to make it executable.

The same happens on debian linux. Well, don't do that then (Linus Torvalds). 🙂
As a workaround you could configure your printer with an older version of PS and then use it with the newer version. Existing profiles are imported/converted on upgrade.
