Prusaslicer 2.5.2 with FFCP (Sailfish 7.7) - Can't get layer cooling fan to run
Hi there. I've been Googling this for a couple of days, but not having any luck getting this to work.
In addition to our i3 MK3S+ we have an older Monoprice printer that is a FFCP clone running on Sailfish 7.7.
It's running through an Octoprint/Octodash set-up, and I have things set up where we can get direct load/print from Prusaslicer.
The problem I'm running into it I can't quite sort out what is needed to get the cooling fan to run, which causes problems on some more delicate of the prints with PLA.
A couple notes:
- The fan is good and works. Tested with with direct power, and checked with others who previously used this printer and they confirm that it works during printing.
- Original slicing had been done with Simplify3D. I'm trying to standardize, thus why trying to use Prusaslicer.
- Have tried both variants of the M106/M107 or M126/127 gcode commands with no success.
- I have the settings in the slicer set to run the fan all of the time and even to run for the first layer (to save waiting time to test function)
I would appreciate any input that anyone might have to get this to work.
Thanks!

What values were you trying with the various M commands ? PS puts out 0-255 which translates to 1-100% but iirc theres some firmware that needs values in 0-100. Worth a try.

Using 255, as that's 100%. SF uses the same values, from what I read.
I think I read that with SF 7.7, anything over 0 is going to run at full speed anyway. (No PWM , like with SF 7.8)
