Prusaslicer 2.2.3 Final No supports in middle of objects
I have tried painting and support enforcers and I can't get support to happen in the middle of large flat areas. Example included. I.E. if I wanted to print an open box with opening on the bed, I can't force supports in the middle of the object.

I don't know if this is causing your issue but I had a similar problem when I hadn't unticked "Don't support bridges:" under Print settings > Support Material
