Prusa Slicer version 2.4.0 A acceleration question

So, in my years programming CNC cutting equipment in that system if I wanted slower, smoother acceleration I put in larger numbers. It was the steps taken to achieve a defined change in speed. In slicer I'm not sure that is the case, is it the same or the opposite?

Just an old guy learning to better control his equipment, thanks.

Acceleration

Since the unit used for the acceleration control sis mm/s^2 I'd expect a bigger number to result in faster acceleration.

Values represent actual acceleration (and jerk) rates

The speeds you specify represent mm/s^2, so are the "actual" acceleration factor. Larger values produce more rapid acceleration. Jerk represents the rate of change. Hope that makes sense!
