prusa slicer multiple configuration startup
Hi,
I own 3 differents printers and I want to know if it s possible to start PrusaSlicer with the config I want
it could be : buttons /dialog box/ menu
for exemple button 1
I3 mk3 /petg/ 0.20 quality
Button 2
FLSUN SR /PLA / 0.15
etc .... you get the drill
I already use snapshot but it s not User friendly @ all and it s bugged (F.E : I can't add a filament type with the wizard it goes to the end of the process but when I restart the filament I add is missing)
THanks for your help and suggestion
Stéphane
RE: prusa slicer multiple configuration startup
Officially no. However you can just use project files. Set up exactly as you want it with your profiles etc. then save the project file. (File>save project as)
Then when you load in the project all the settings are restored, as that’s what project files do.
You could have ‘default mk3’, or default cr10, or whatever you want really.
On the filament you are adding, it’s not likely a bug. Not all filaments are available for all printers. They can be locked to vendor spaces and further restricted by both printer and print profile. For example mmu filaments are actually different to normal filaments and not all are available even for a a Prusa mmu.
Use --load my_config.ini with the command line interface to start with a particular configuration. If you create several startup shortcuts each can load a different setup.
Cheerio,
