Prusa Slicer 2.9.3 Beta 1

I downloaded the beta but I have absolutely no clue on how to get the changes into Prusaslicer. Do I need to move a folder somewhere?

Read the release notes and Github details ... they explain everything the engineers want you to know.

In my copy of the beta I see three executables ... if you don't see them then I suspect you've got a damaged download. And, the release notes are quite clear on how to use the beta version. Back to what Snag said.

I donloaded 2.9.3 Beta1, it was a Zipfile,
so I extracted the zipfile
inside was another directory, inside that directory was a file structure

and inside that, was Prusa-Slicer.exe

I Hope that helps,
regards Joan

RE:

It's pretty strange how nobody wants to just answer a simple question and help people out.

Sometimes the help you get in forums isn't exactly what you want, even though it's legitimate help based on the questions being asked.

Betas aren't installed, they run in a separate sandbox. If this doesn't make sense, then it is best you stick with the installed version. Especially true if you have problems finding the executables in the zipped download. The sandbox makes the use of the beta safer, but you can still shoot yourself in the foot moving config bundles around.

ps: this made me think of another simple question: "Why is the sky blue?"
