Prusa Slicer 2.9.3 Beta 1
I downloaded the beta but I have absolutely no clue on how to get the changes into Prusaslicer. Do I need to move a folder somewhere?

@chaoticprinter
You, shouldn't be using a beta if you have to ask these questions. Stick with the final versions, you will find it hard enough to get the information from the community that you need to use the final versions properly.

Read the release notes and Github details ... they explain everything the engineers want you to know.

It's pretty strange how nobody wants to just answer a simple question and help people out. This is my first printer, but that being said. I have been working with computers and computer programs for years and have a pretty good understanding. I am running my own custom-made profiles on my printer and custom g-code. I have just never dealt with slicer before or their beta's/updates. I downloaded the beta and there isn't a program or application in that folder to run, not that I seen.

In my copy of the beta I see three executables ... if you don't see them then I suspect you've got a damaged download. And, the release notes are quite clear on how to use the beta version. Back to what Snag said.
RE: Prusa Slicer 2.9.3 Beta 1
I donloaded 2.9.3 Beta1, it was a Zipfile,
so I extracted the zipfile
inside was another directory, inside that directory was a file structure
and inside that, was Prusa-Slicer.exe
I Hope that helps,

Sometimes the help you get in forums isn't exactly what you want, even though it's legitimate help based on the questions being asked.
Betas aren't installed, they run in a separate sandbox. If this doesn't make sense, then it is best you stick with the installed version. Especially true if you have problems finding the executables in the zipped download. The sandbox makes the use of the beta safer, but you can still shoot yourself in the foot moving config bundles around.
ps: this made me think of another simple question: "Why is the sky blue?"

All of this was to help you out, it is not to your benefit, frankly ours either, to introduce you to alpha's, beta's or even Rc's. On the one hand you may have lots of computer experience, and run custom profiles, however that, and knowing how a program you have little experience with is expected to function, and recognizing whats wrong and what works, are not the same thing. So many times I have watched users here download and attempt to use versions of the software that were intended for testing as if they knew something about it and then come in here time after time after time asking how to do this, and why doesn't this work, ect.. and I'm guessing so have many many others here that are experienced.
So to answer your question, (and I know you think your different) they all do, no one want's to answer this question because it's not simple, because we know what comes after.
Do yourself a favor, and Stick with the final versions until your truly an expert with the software, you'll find the help you need until then, and one day when your at the level that you can evaluate alpha's, beta's and Rc's, move forward from there, in the meantime, for sure go read the release notes for the latest test releases.
Regards, and Good luck
