RE:

Hello everyone,

the topic might be old, but I had the same problem a few days ago. I've been working with Cura for years and it yielded great result with my old ender 3, but recently i bought a used kobra (ver. 1) and the prints were okay, but not quite there. I wanted to start with the PrusaSlicer, but there was no profile for the kobra. Then I logically thought, that AnycubicSlicer (based on Prusa) would support my new printer, which it also didn't.

The solution was very simple indeed. I just opted for the Kobra 2 profile in the AnycubicSlicer. I just wanted to give it a go, since I didn't think the two printers would be so much different.

AND IT WORKED BEAUTIFULLY!!!

So, basically what you'll do is install anycubic slicer and choose kobra 2 as your printer. Make sure to go directly to the settings and change the assigned speeds, so your kobra doesn't fly apart 😀

That's it!!!

I've tested this on multiple long, big prints so far and I can say I never had such good results with Cura (I'm pretty experienced in Cura).

Hope this works for you too!

A bit new to this, but like to give this a try.  Any suggestions on what speeds to adjust and to what #/%?

thanks!

RE: Profile for Anycubic Kobra ?

hello there i kind of want to cry after dealing with this but i went through the Chinese version of their website to download the "NEXT" slicer, if you want to look at that, I kind of just CTRL-C and CTRL-V on the G-Codes and hit Ctrl-F to get all the setting i could find I havent figured out how to set it to auto calibrate prior to printing but I'll explore that next.

Start G-code

G28 ; home all axes
G1 Z5 F5000 ; lift nozzle
G90 ; use absolute coordinates
M83 ; extruder relative mode
M204 S[machine_max_acceleration_extruding] T[machine_max_acceleration_retracting]
G28 ; home all
G1 Y1.0 Z0.3 F1000 ; move print head up
G92 E0.0
; initial load
G1 X205.0 E19 F1000
G1 Y1.6
G1 X5.0 E19 F1000
G92 E0.0
; intro line
G1 Y2.0 Z0.2 F1000
G1 X65.0 E9.0 F1000
G1 X105.0 E12.5 F1000
G92 E0.0

End G-Code

M104 S0 ; Extruder off
M140 S0 ; Heatbed off
M107 ; Fan off
G91 ; relative positioning
G1 E-5 F3000
G1 Z+0.3 F3000 ; lift print head
G28 X0 F3000
M84

After Layer change G-code

; AFTER_LAYER_CHANGE [layer_num] @ [layer_z]mm
