problems with importing SVGs

I'm trying to import some logos in SVG format into prusaslicer but I keep getting an error message saying:
"SVG file does NOT contain a single path to be embossed (C:\User etc xxxxxx....."

I am able to import these  images into other apps and view them so I know the file isn't corrupted as such. I've tried converting using multiple on line converters and apps (including inkscape) with same result.

Same occurs when i try to import lines (for borders etc) although I have found that the SVGs produced by my CAD app (shaper3D) consistently makes usable line drawings so I'm ok on the lines but I can't import logos or images into shaper3D  as image files so i'm stuck there.

anyone have any ideas on what the issue with the files is, and more importantly,  advice on some way of  producing or fixing the  svgs  and converting them into prusaslicer compatable svg files?

RE: problems with importing SVGs

Use an online converter to convert them to a dxf.  Then you can import that dxf into your cad and use that to make geometry.

You'll likely have to do some cleanup depending on how clean your svg is.  I've done this lots of times, and often spend a bunch of time cleaning up the converted svg because there's a bunch of unneeded lines and crazy geometry.

You'll also have to scale it as I've never had them come in at the right size.
